Donald Trump’s Reddit AMA – how the internet reacted


As Barack Obama implored America to choose Hillary Clinton as his successor, Donald Trump was busy answering questions from the good folk over on Reddit.

Trump took part in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session, however many social media commentators complained the thread, held on The_Donald supporters page and not the neutral  AMA sub, was highly moderated and censored.

He discussed issues including NASA, the influence of new media and the Baton Rouge shooting in the Reddit Q&A.

“I’m doing this in flight to visit the great people of Toledo, OH, so internet connection might be spotty — I promise you, I’ll answer all the questions I can,” he said.

“I want to do BIG things for America and as your President, I WILL Make America Great Again!”

He generally stuck to the script with his answers, with The Verge describing it as “surprisingly bland”.
